MD. Shahriar Talukder Shaikat is a dynamic and dedicated graduate of 2020 from BRAC University who is currently working as Teaching Assistant of BRAC Business School. He completed his graduation majoring in Finance and Human Resource Management with a strong academic record and exceptional involvement in extracurricular activities.

Remarkably, Mr. Shaikat graduated with Highest Distinction from BRAC Business School. He also successfully led the “BRAC University Business & Economics Forum” as Joint Secretary along with being a part of the BRACU Express team, BRAC University’s official campus newspaper. He is also one of the prominent members of the founding team which actively worked for the shared vision and mission of establishing the Research and Professional Development Centers (RPDs) of Brac Business School. In his capacity, he was remarkable in contributing to the project by collecting, cleaning, managing, interpreting, and analyzing data for research purposes. 

Mr. Shaikat’s passion for research comes from his belief that in the 21st century, business and non-business decisions should be research-driven.  He also feels that research can create gateways for identifying problem areas and can influence decisions that have a substantial impact on society. Upon joining the Research and Professional Development Centers (RPDs) as a “Trainee Research Fellow”, he found his place to translate his passion into action. His research areas of interest are the financial market, emotional intelligence, and human behavior.
